November 2007: Ellaroo's 2nd Wrap Design Contest: We have a winner! The new design will be made into Ellaroo's next Wrap Carrier, available in Spring 2008, and the designer Carey D. wins naming rights, and one of the first new wraps when it's produced or one of Ellaroo's new bags, due to launch in January 2008. July 2007: Ellaroo donates a Deluxe Mei Tai for API: Attachment Parenting International (API) promotes parenting practices that create strong, healthy emotional bonds between children and their parents. Proceeds fron the "Project: Staying Power" On-Line Auction will go to API's general operations, web site renovation, and development of the “Eight Principles of AP” Parent Education Curriculum. Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise.
July 5 2007: Success Through Play Magazine features Ellaroo: Success Through Play Magazine interviews Ellaroo owner Vesta Hartman Garcia and reviews the Ellaroo baby carriers. Success Through Play's team of experts and international parent panel review eco-friendly baby, child and parent products and offer tips for stimulating your baby and child's development.
May 3 2007: No Mother Left Behind presents prize package to its' 100th mother: NMLB accepts donated slings from individuals and businesses and redistributes them to mothers who are in need of assistance. Ellaroo is proud to be a sponsor of this 100% volunteer run organization, and donated a pair of soft soled Piedino baby shoes for the gift basket presented to NMLB's 100th recipient.
